November 21st.
Fifteen years ago today, the life I had lead since I was 14 years old came to an end. I haven't become perfect in those 15 years, and I never will. I still don't always make the right decisions, handle things in the best ways, but despite my faults I have become a different person than I was. Different as in much better. To those of you who know what I'm talking about I thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping to make it possible. Each and every one of you have contributed to my success whether it be by supporting me or accepting me and I know I couldn't have gotten here without you. The future is brighter than I ever thought possible and I thank you for that too. For those of you who have no clue what I'm talking about, I thank you as well because even though you don't know (and probably don't need to) you have also been instrumental. Also for those who don't know, let your take away here be to never, ever judge a book by it's cover. You would be surprised how wrong you can be. As Thanksgiving approaches, I hope that you fully understand my gratitude, and I hope that you have things that you feel as grateful for. |
