Jammin' With The Kid

I get to have a lot of great experiences. I guess that's what this whole website is about isn't it?

One of my greatest thrills as a musician is getting to play with my Dad from time to time. All musicians would love to get to play with the other musician who inspired them. I'm one of the few who get to do that because I am a musician and a bass player because of my Dad.

The second has to be doing it the other way around and being the Dad while my son plays with me.

It always means the world to me to play with my Dad and I've always wondered how that feels for him. I think I have a clue now after starting to play with Scotty and teach him to play the drums.

I am by no means a great singer or guitar player, I'm a bass player! I do like to play guitar & sing screwing around and it's helpful teaching Scotty.

In any case, this video is after his first lesson. He learned this song and played it all the way through in one night.
