The Day Has Arrived.

I shall be succincter than ever before. By the way, "succincter" is a word: Colonel Potter used it in M.A.S.H. So there's that.
Today's the day I do it. I just step into whatever is next for me, one baby step at a time.
I owe myself a shot at the life the little kid I was dreamed of.  I deserve to show that while maybe late in life, I still made the effort.
The little kid in me never had a single dream, ambition or vocation. Much like George Bailey, he had a hatful of them.
I owe myself the shot at living my life exactly as I want and in the best way possible as I define that.
Quite frankly, taking this step is exactly where I need to be after spending a long time preparing for it and developing the confidence and courage it takes to make. And it does take confidence and courage and I did develop that. With help yes, but it was my willingness and determination that made it happen.
Watch for me to be Me & do weird things, cool things, things that defy common logic and things that laugh at the notion that anyone's judgement other than my own matter.
We are only bound by what we allow to bind us. I have felt my chains, I have learned that I've had the key all along.
No I go forth free.
I will remain respectful and understanding of others feelings, thoughts or beliefs, but my best choices for myself will not be subject to others approval.
I chose to bind myself to that.
I choose to free myself from it.
I have begun the process of practicing what I preach and doing instead of talking about doing.
The day has arrived.
